The existing non-health donor centre will be included for the first time in this agreement. As a result, these employees are no longer covered by the EA General. Lifeblood proposed, for the duration of the agreement, an annual salary increase of 2% for the duration of the agreement, in exchange for any substantial changes made to EA`s donor centre. The CpSU/PSA understands that members are concerned about a number of existing conditions within the EA and want them to be changed. Members of the KPdSU/PSA expressed a desire to improve conditions in the following areas: it is proposed that all non-subseed staff employed in donor centres should no longer be covered by this agreement and be covered by the “Nurses Agreement” (currently after its nominal expiration date), which is probably referred to as the “staff agreement for the donor centre” (see below).
